If you have your heart set on being a movie star, the best advice we can offer is that you plan to study your craft at Julliard in New York or some of the excellent acting schools in Hollywood.

To be perfectly honest, the days of being discovered in a drug store are long gone. Our objective is to provide you with the information and skill sets necessary to perform successfully in film, television or motion pictures in a supportive or background role.

BACKGROUND
Most often hired for your 'look'. These are non-speaking roles which vary from someone walking down the street, crowd scenes, newspaper reporters, juries and the like. Many actors choose to make a part time career out of this work...and do it very well.

Because most background actors treat this as a part time endeavour and cannot be in more than one scene, we are required to maintain an extensive roster. For more information on being a background actor and joining our roster, please click here.

If you wish to be cast in a speaking role, it normally requires that you audition for that part. On the occasion that you are asked to speak a word or a line while playing as a background performer, please make note of the individual who asked you to speak the line, at what point in the script and contact us to see if it warrants an upgrade.

PRINCIPAL ROSTER
Made up of actors who have taken the time to study their craft and wish to treat their acting career as a career instead of a hobby. Because these roles are in direct support of the story, you are expected to read and understand the sides (script)...then perform as a professional. The best way to get started is to take a course on HOW TO AUDITION! Without the benefit of this course, it will become very obvious that you do not unsderstand the protocols and won't make it to first base.

We visit the Casting Workbook several times a day to see if any Casting Directors have posted roles suited to people on our roster. Most often, these are listings are extremely specific...right down to eye color and cup size! If you wonder why you were not offered the opportunity to audition for a part...there is a good reason.

It is in our collective best interest to get you out
on as many suitable auditions as possible.
